WOODEN DRASCOMBES

Introduction

Most Drascombes are built of GRP but the original ones were made of wood. Even after GRP production began there were still builders producing wooden Drascombes.

I have set up this website to record the details of as many wooden Drascombes as I can trace. (75 so far)

If you have a wooden Drascombe and would like to see it included in the register please let me have the details. By Drascombe I mean the traditional-style sailing boats designed by the late John Watkinson.
