Another quote:-
"Your remarks confirm the boat's origin, as I had to remove the
original varnish, which had suffered over the years, but apart from a
few knees supporting the gunwale and parts of the endgrain of the plywood
damaged by water, due to the boat being laid up in a garden for 5 years,
she was in good condition , a credit to her builders and any lady of her
age needs a little powder and paint ! I named her Teazer after a T class
Destroyer I was on and thereby hangs a tale. At her launching, my neighbour
asked why she was so named and it transpired that she was at the commissioning
of H.M.S. Teazer in 1943, with her late husband, who was the ship's doctor.....a
small world ! "
